When education and business get together, inevitably we find IT taking centre stage. Also upfront was President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, who took a different tack at APEC today. She argued that one of the world's biggest challenges is adapting education to the new technologically-savvy generation:
"The educational system that we want must motivate and teach generations of students who, before entering university, have already played 10,000 hours of video games, received and sent 20,000 emails, talked 10,000 hours through mobile phones, and many more..."
